Definition of Sewing

Sewing is a joining process of fabric and attaching process of trims and different decorative ingredient in the garments.

In the sewing section, garments individual parts (cut panel) are joined together by thread and give the actual shape of garments. The trims, like zipper, button, drawstring, elastin, label, bow etc. also attached here.

The sewing section is the heart of any garments industry. Because the main products are produced here. Everybody in the factory concerns about the output and efficiency of this section. The main concern of different audits and buyers also this section.

Almost 80% of the entire worker of any apparel industry works in this section. So, the factory invests the maximum amount of labor-capital here as well as earns the maximum amount of revenue from here.
