Calculation of Pieces Per Hour from Cycle Time

Converting the cycle time to pieces per hour is a most used term in industrial engineering. To do it need the following parameters.
✔ Average Cycle Time of The Process
✔ Factory allowance percentage

The formula for converting cycle time to piece is below.
Hourly Piece= [(3600/ (Average Cycle Time of The Process+ 20% Allowance)]

(Note: 1 hour = 3600 seconds Allowance may vary factory to factory)

Let say,
Average cycle time of the process = 25 seconds and
Factory allowance percentage = 20% then

Piece Per Hour = 3600/ (25+25 × 20%) = 3600/30 = 120 Pieces
